The running temperature of an engine is affected by several factors, the load the engine is under, eternal temperature, the speed at which it is running etc. In addition the gauges fitted to cars indicate a safe 'range' rather than a specific temperature to reflect this. So long as the indicator remains within the safe range eveything should be fine.
