There could be many reasons why the radio wont' work in a Renault, Clio. You could just be out of range of that station.
Anytime a battery cable is disconnected you have to reprogram the set radio stations
Put batteries into a radio then press the on button
One - the radio runs off the battery. Two - if the battery has been replaced, during the time it wad out of the car all its memory was lost. You may have to reset it from scratch. Three - it's a coincidence.

Plug a booster pack or car charger with a power point adapter into the power point (cigarette lighter) of you vehicle before disconnecting the battery. This will keep power to your radio and security system. The bonus is it will even save you radio presets.
If the radio has a security code you will have to insert the code for the radio to work.
You will need to input the radio code [4 digit] via remote or stalk radio control. This info should be with radio handbook or failing that you'll need to visit your friendly Renault dealer to get it done
