yes and no did not changed fuel filter
I guess I could have explained more thoroughly I have changed the air filter and fuel filter and changed spark plugs and also disconnected the kill swithes on mower to make sure that was not it either plus I changed the oil too

if it has spark plugs check the distributor cap and/or rotor button for corrosion
the spark plug gap is .025"
Check to see if it getting spark/fuel Check rotor
check the alternator, ignition coil. or even see what the charge at the battery is.
Yes, they still wear out. Most do last 100,000 miles though.
No BELT. It has a CHAIN and no maintenance is required. - I do recommend changing the Spark Plugs, Plugs Wires, Fuel Filter, PVC Valve & Fuel Filter though. I'm at 160,000km on my 02' and doing its first change now.

For a tune up the spark plugs and air filter will need to be changed. Most people change the oil and filter at this time. Older bikes may have points that need to be changes as well.
