it depends on the year of the car, but on some older American models there is a relay switch (about a $3.00 part) that goes out and makes the car appear "dead". most back yard mechanics will insist it's the battery or alternator, but if your car has a relay switch I would spend the couple of bucks and replace it first.
Probably not, although it could lead to other problems which would cause your car not to start.
A guess-- the air cooling fan.
It could, along with dozens of other possibilities.
It could, The "bus" is the communication system between the computers. If you have theft or chipped keys it could cause a no start or no crank if the computers are not able to "talk" to each other to pass along the ok to start message. It could, The "bus" is the communication system between the computers. I would start with the fuel filter being clogged. Sounds like a fuel problem to me I would start with the fuel filter being clogged. Sounds like a fuel problem to me
The fuel filter could cause a start and stall. Other causes could include the fuel pump, computer, various sensors, and ignition system.
Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.
Sounds like my same problem. It was the Camshaft position sensor. Hope this helps.
More details are needed. I presume this is a vehicle. What sounds does it make, does it start to turn over? The problems could be damp or other earthing problems, fuel pump problems, starter motor, etc.
sounds like the choke is not working correctly
This question is way too broad in range. What does the car do, sounds, possible smells, or anything that the car usually doesn't do except not start.
No battery.
