Saturn Bulb Troubleshooting (check in this order):
· Check Fuses
· Check Bulbs
· Check Relay(s)
· Check Light Switch(es)
· Check license plate light bulb and wiring
· Check trailer hitch wiring harness
· Check all wiring harnesses and wire
Most likely its the fuse or a burnt bulb breaking the circuit. It could be the flasher relay unit or the actual turn signal switch. But most likely a bulb or fuse. Sometimes the license plate and/or the trailer hitch is wired into other circuits and can cause issues in other areas. Sometimes its wires grounding out somewhere on the vehicle. See sources and related links below for bulb information. See owner's manual for location and identification of fuses.
Check the 2005 GMC Envoys turn signal flasher. The flasher could have an intermittent issue causing the signals to not work.
beleive there is a recall for that
my turn signals do not work in my 1992 Pontiac Firebird
Check your fuses first. If the fuse is good replace the flasher relay.
Fuse, wiring, bulbs
they do work
hazards and turn signals have separate flashers. replace flasher for turn signals
That is a good thing. You want the turn signals to work.
Blown fuse, bad bulbs, defective Flasher Relay, bad wiring, or defective turn signal switch.
If the turn signals in the dash don't work, what about the outside front and rear turn signals? Working? Not working? If it's not working, replace the turn signal relay under the dash.
not sure what causes it, but sometimes my signals will just not work. with lever still in position to activate signal, push button for hazards. then put signal lever in "off" position. turn off hazards. signals should work. temporarily anyway.
There are two flashers, one for the hazards and one for the signals.
