Lots of possibilities. Here's what I can think up in a few minutes. Is the liquid visibly leaking out or just disappearing? Does it come out in bunches or in drips that show up on your garage floor?
The radiator could leak through a seam, or due to corrosion in the main core. The heater core could be leaking.
Leaking hoses. This could be the main radiator hoses, or the two that go to the heater core. It could also be a leak out of the overflow tank or the line that runs to it.
Leaking freeze plugs. These corrode with time, especially if you don't flush and fill your radiator regularly.
Is it regularly overheating? Maybe the coolant is just boiling off and escaping through the overflow tank, assuming you have one.
Then there's bad stuff. Leaking head gaskets allow the coolant to enter the combustion chamber or the crankcase.
And really bad stuff. Your head or block are cracked and the coolant is leaking into one of the places above.
SEVERAL THINGS. A HOLE IN A HOSE TO THE RADIATOR FOR ONE
a hole in a heater hose or radiator hose a leaking radiator a leaking intake manifold a leaking cylinder head a leaking heater core if there is any coolant on the ground then it should be easy to see the leak. if there is coolant loss and you can not see it, there might be a internal problem (cylinder head gasket) or the coolant is evaporitating before it hits the ground. pull the oil cap off, if it looks like you spit on the cap then its coolant in the oil. you might want to try and run the vehicle and see if you see any blue smoke coming from the exhaust, if so its probaibly a head gasket. i need more information to help you diagnose the problem correctly (year, vehicle, engine size, etc.)
No.
YesYes
Yes, low coolant can cause a loss of heat in the cabin.
As with any car, low coolant will cause this car to overheat. Common areas of coolant lose are the water pump or intake manifold gaskets. If the coolant is full, then another common problem is blown headgaskets- especially the rear head. A blown headgasket introduced compression into the cooling system causing air pocket / bubbles. This will cause an overheat.- TechJK -----------------------------------------------------------
the enigne is shot its burning the oil and coolant that's why it runs like garbage
You start to lose compression and coolant is in your oil
You'll lose coolant.
There are several things that can cause your Ford Fiesta 1.4 liter engine to lose coolant. The most common cause is a defective water hose.
yes, because once the coolant started to steam it would seep out.
It can if the cylinder fills with coolant.
Assuming there is coolant in the engine the most likely cause is a build up of sediment behind the coolant drain or in the coolant drain tap itself.
you will lose coolant quickly and ur car will heat up sooner or later
