The rear axle fill plug is the rubber plug in the rear differential cover. Fill the fluid to the bottom of the hole. 75w90 or 80w90, if posi it requires a limited slip additive.
When I changed the fluid in mine it took 3 quarts to fill it up. Also if you have a posi-trac rear end you will need to put in a Posi additive. You can get it at Oreillys or AutoZone. If you don't put in the additive the rear end will make a clunking sound when turning.
Remove the fill plug with either a 3/8 drive or 1/2 drive extention and ratchet and then take fluid with a hose and squeeze the fluid into it
there are 2 plugs on the rear of the tansfer case(rear meaning the part facing the rear end of the vehicle),one is to fill and one is to drain, the one closest to the botton is to drain the fluid and the one that's towards the middle is the fill plug open the fill plug all the way and fill until the fluid starts to come out of the hole

You can change at least half of the fluid in the rear end at Tuffys.
