The 95 SE has an hydraulic-assist clutch that is slaved off of the brake master cylinder.
In the clutch master cylinder next to the brake master.
Clutch fluid comes out of the same reservoir as brake fluid. So...go buy a little bottle of DOT 4 fluid (for the love of all that is good DO NOT PUT DOT 3 IN A SAAB!) and pour it in.
1. Lift the bonnet 2. Locate the brake fluid cylinder its the big round thing with a white lid on it. 3. Behind this there is a smaller cylinder with a white lid about 2inches diameter. 4. This is the clutch fluid cylinder and this is where you pour the clutch fluid. 5. Don't get fluid on the bodywork or you will damage the paintwork
There are two Bolts on the transmission itself theres a giant bolt on the bottom for removing the transmission fluid and a bolt of the same size on the side.. if possible lift the car but keep it level then take out the bolt on the side of the transmission then stick your CLEAN finger in if you feel fluid up to the bolt hole level then you have the right amount if its low pour fluid in until it begins to pour back out the bolt hole ( pretty hard to do ive swapped 2 transmissions on my old probe and had to find many awkward ways to do this )
Behind the engine is a dipstick labeled transmission fluid. Pull the stick out and pour in the tranny fluid with a funnel
the easiest thing to do is remove the slave cylinder then pump the pedal and the fluid will pour out
usually in small resivoir top of handlebars. On the right hand side and the clutch usually takes brake fluid too if they are hydraulic on the left hand side.
You get a funnel with a hose on it, put the hose where the dipstick goes and slowly pour your tranny fluid in to it. BE SURE NOT TO OVERFILL!!!!
Transmission fluidTake out the transmission dip stick & pour in the transmission fluid in to it. That's simple thing to do if you had a funnel. vbenz
A "hydraulic clutch" use's standard DOT 3 Brake Fluid nothing more. Follow the steel line from the master cylinder up, where it ends is the Fluid Reservoir. Use caution when replacing the fluid as you do not want air in the lines. So to change the fluid simply remove the fluid using an old Turkey baster and pour in the new fluid to the correct level.
You unscrew the drain plug directly below the center of the large, round clutch cover (derby), replace the drain plug, then pour new oil into the clutch cover opening.
