The answer could possibly be that you're a retard. If the vehicle is off and a light is still on, the light will require ELECTRICITY! For the love of God, your battery is fine BUT IT WONT BE IF YOU KEEP KILLING IT AND BOOSTING IT! I suggest taking the car in to someone who knows what they're talking about.
You'd probably be better off getting rid of the car, as neons suck a lot of dick.
It depends on the indicator. Check engine means the engine computer has detected a malfunction. The oil can is an oil pressure problem, a battery is a charging problem, etc
I had this problem. The alternator was fine, it was the battery that was bad. The alternator was "pegging" out the indicator bc it was trying to charge the battery, but it wasnt taking charge. Take the battery out and have it checked.
Engine not running, or belt fell off.
check your altinator it may not be charging the battery or your turmials to your battery to see if they are loose then if that fails i would start thing insuffecent fuel supply I second that. Alternator problem!
I am sure this is not the proper way to reset the light, but I disconnected my battery cable for ten minutes and it fixed the problem.
so stupid
diagnostic procedures as follows: 1. Turn off the computer and peripherals, and disconnect them from AC power. 2. Reseat each installed battery by removing it and then replacing it. 3. Turn on the computer. Does the green power indicator light up? Allow one minute for the computer to initialize its components before checking for signs of power. Yes. Continue to step 4. No. Use the AC adapter to connect your computer to AC power. If the computer operates normally when using AC power, go to step 7. If the computer does not boot when using the AC adapter, see the previous subsection, "Total Power Failure When Using the AC Adapter." 4. Does the battery indicator flash amber or show a a steady amber light? Yes. The battery needs to be charged. Go step 5. No. Go to step 7. 5. Connect the computer to AC power, and fully charge the battery. For instructions, see the topic titled "Charging the Battery" in the online System User's Guide. 6. As the battery charges, does the green battery indicator light up? Yes. Go to step 9. No. Go to step 7. 7. Is the battery indicator flashing green and amber? Your computer may be in a hot environment. Charging the battery in this condition may affect the life span of the battery. Yes. Continue to step 8. No. The problem is resolved. 8. Disconnect the computer from AC power. Is the the battery indicator still flashing amber? Yes. You may have a defective battery. Continue to step 9. No. The problem is resolved. 9. Remove the battery, and press its test button. Is the uppermost indicator in the charge gauge of the battery flashing? Yes. You have a defective battery. Continue to step 9. No. The problem is resolved. 10. If a spare battery is available, fully charge it, and then install it in the computer. 11. Turn on the computer. Is the power indicator off? Yes. Your original battery is defective. get a new battery replacement. No. Call Dell for technical assistance.
There is no reset for the light. The light is on because you have a problem with the charging system. Once the problem is corrected the light will go out. Normally the light comes on when the alternator stops functioning.
Disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes and reconnect the battery. All fault codes must be cleared from the SRS control moduleâ??s memory in order to reset the SRS indicator light. All of the underlying problem must be fixed to prevent the SRS indicator light from illuminating again.
Either the new alternator is dead, belt slippage or there is a wiring problem. The Globe could also be of the wrong value. On really early cars the globe is part of the circuit not just an indicator.
Why not correct the problem that is causing it to tell you the trunk is open when it is not. There is a switch in the trunk that is out of adjustment. the switch is located in the latch mechanism itself located on the trunk lid once located there should be a plug in there unplug it youwill have no trunk light or dash indicator but this will solve your problem
The most common reason for lights failure on 1985-88 Yamaha Virago XV 100's is battery problems. Check to see that the battery is in working condition and sufficiently charged. If the battery is fine, there may be a problem with the main fuse and the ones below the indicator panel.
