where on a 1995 ford f250 7.3 engine is the number 8 fuel injector located I have hod a buzz test done on the truck thay said the number 8 fuel injector was not working so I need to know wrere is the number 8 fuel injector is located
I had to replace the injector itself the other day as it was not allowing the fuel to go into the TBI unit. I used the injector test light on the harness and it show the computer as being good.
you have to remove the high pressure oil manifold, then remove the fuel injector.
There should be a fuel pressure "test" port behind the throttle body. Test the fuel pressure at the test port using a fuel pressure gauge. If the engine starts using starting fluid and doesn't start without, and the fuel pressure at the test port is normal... you have something else going on. It COULD be the injector, but don't assume until you've tested other stuff.
under hood, on fuel rail which is connected to each fuel injector there should be a valve that looks like a tire valve. That is the shrader valve, test fuel pressure there.
A noid light is there to test the electrical impulses in your fuel injector. The noid light helps determine a misfire.
There is a noid light that will check injector pulses from the distributor. It plugs into the injector plug. Most common failure for inop injector is in the distributor module. Also check fuel pressure to see if the fuel pump is operating correctly. It should come on for 2-3 seconds when ignition key is turned to run. Chevy guy denver
Bad oxygen sensor, fuel injector bleed, timing off.
This is caused by your PCM being unable to adapt enough to correct a problem in the fuel/air mixture. This can be caused by several things, not necessarily in this order. Catalyst plugged Bad Powertrain Control Module Engine parts tolerance Fuel injector(s) stuck open or leaking MAP sensor O2 sensor (upstream) Fuel pressure regulator Wiring harness/connector problem
There are several ways. Most people use what is called a noid light. To use a noid light you unplug a fuel injector and plug a noid light in to the harness. You turn the engine over. If the noid light flashes then you have injector pulse. Another way to check is to use a low wattage test light. Unplug a fuel injector, and plug one end of the test light to each wire from the harness. Crank the engine over and see if the light flashes.
If you are using a test light and testing the ground connection with key on, the test light will light up because you are completing the circuit not because you have two positive wires.
Try replacing the fuel injectors. They are expensive but you may try RC injectors. www.rceng.com is the site to go to. They were a cheaper alternative to me...Hope they can help you too.AnswerThere's a good chance your fuel injectors are bad. I had the same problem and had them replaced, starts and runs fine now. But, more then likely it wont be cheap, the injectors (OE ones) are around $180, good luck. AnswerOk I have an 87 Supra non-turbo and my car did the same thing. I came to find out that on the intake there is a valve with a wire hooked up to it. If this wire or cord I should say comes unplugged from this intake valve, then the car will crank and then die right after. Plug this back in and your car should run just fine.((((( your problem is one of 2 things. you have no fuel pressure feeding injector rail pump can be new but if there is no power feeding pump you have no pressure first check for crancking power to fuel pump. also check fuel pump relay also computer sends power to engage pump relay usually from cam or crank sensor. i never saw 6 electronic fuel injectors go bad at the same time check for fuel injector pulse signal going to injector you must unplug electrical plug to each injector go to auto zone and purchase a injector test light or what techs call a noid light plug in 1 injector at a time and have someone crank engine if noid ligt flash or pulses on or of the injector is receiving thetrigger to open the valve in the injector and send fuel to that cylinder if you have no injector pulse check every fuse in car for open circuit if all good scan computer for bad cam or crank sensor test relay then stat test fuel pum by temporarolly running fused power wires to pump sounds like pump is not activating, test fuel pressure while cranking if no pressure fix pump curcuit good luck
