You need to rebuild that carb, there should never be that much fuel coming out of the jets.
You'll first need to determine where the fuel leak is coming from and then replace or repair the leaking component .
replace? why not fix it?
System too lean bank one-start by checking fuel pressure at rail, (fuel pump could be going) then operation of bank one o2 sensor with a scanner. A small shop should be able to handle this-you don't need to go to a dealer.
in the fuel line up close to or on injector rail there should be what looks like a air valve, push it in until pressure is constant this will fix the vapor lock, but then replace gas cap
Use a code scanner to check the engine diagnostic codes. If you see any problems fix that first. If there are no issues, check fuel pressure at the fuel rail test port. If the fuel pressure is low either at an idle or when driving under full power, check and/or replace the fuel filter.
sounds like the fuel pressure regulator, the one on my Buick was bad & the gas was leaking from it could be an injector o-ring on the fuel rail, just had this problem with 2 injectors on my 90 3.3L Dynasty LE simple fix actually if your even a little mechanically inclined, its 2, 13mm bolts to lift up the fuel rail and a 3dollar o-ring kit to replace them Could also be that the rail will need replaced.
In my experience, you can splice in fuel hose where there are fuel line leaks in some, if not most scenarios. BUT if it is in a dangerous area, like near exhaust engine etc, you should probably replace metal with metal. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
Trouble code P0191 means: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Replace the sensor
try fuelpressure regulator
A GMC dealer will fix it for free if you haven't taken it in for the Safety Recall. See the Safety Recalls on the Edmunds web site for Oldsmobile Aurora. One recall is the fuel rail spraying fuel on the engine. Edmunds dot com
Remove the rear seat, there should be an access cover underneath it
