its next to the oil filler cap. it has four allan key bolts to undo it This is technically the correct thing to do, BUT (big but), you might be more effective with a piece of black tape over the light, as the older ones seem to like showing off their little orange light like this. If you do decide to change the filter which won't be harmful anyway, and probably beneficial, remember to place some rags under the filter when you undo the bolts as you may find diesel slurping out over the engine. If the engine feels normal and is not sluggish or rough at all, then you may find it is just the light you need to ignore. Good luck. Lance T.

I think that means that is a universal signal in for all cars which is telling you that you need to get an oil change?
If the bulbs are working then you just need to change te fuse.

The Peugeot 307 has several warning light symbols with different meanings. The oil can symbol means an oil change is needed while the exclamation point means the tire pressure is low.
Check your master brake cylinder, as the warning light will come on if the fluid level is low. If that is OK, you probably need to change your brake pads.
