No. All BMWs since E36 have had timing chains and not belts and therefore do not need to be changed.
no cam belt. BMW x5 use drive chains.
As often as the manufacturer recommends
Chains Changed was created in 1987.
The Range Rover 220 Turbo diesel cam belt should be changed every 60,000 miles. If you do not change the cam belt and have a problem the warranty may be void.
Timing chains never need to be changed, only belts.
the 3.0 liter engine is fitted with timing chains. there is no "cam belt".
On the V6 change it when you change the cam belt. On the 4 cylinder which has a cam chain change it when you have a leak or it fails.
It has a chain with a cam gear and crank gear.
No, this is not possible.
Hi, The ford cougar (1998-2001) V6 does not have a cam belt but uses a chain instead. It is a Duratec engine which means there are 2 chains running through the engine. The chains are not like belts and and dont need to be changed unless there is some random problem. *if you are hearing noises coming from inside the engine it could be the tensioners. Seek help.
