The Nissan RB25 engine was produced in four forms; the RB25DE, the RB25DET, the NEORB25DE and the NEORB25DET. These four engines were all used in Nissan cars that were made from the years 1985-2004. It is a six cylinder engine.
sr20det, sr20de, sr20vet,ca18,rb20,rb25,rb26,vq,ls1,2jzgett, pretty much if you can dream it the 240 can do it.
well, i would assume that the RB20DET would be faster than the RB25DE, because well...... its turbocharged :L
A rb26dett would be seriously impractical since it outrageously expensive and you would have to get a rb25 trans because the rb26 only was used on AWD vehicles. That being said the rb25det would be practical more power about the same weight. They do have known oiler issues so research it first. A 2jz again not very practical, need new mounts stand alone harness. where the rb25 can use its original crossmember out of a r33.
different motors have been swapped into 240s. SR20DET and RB26 or RB25 motors are also a popular swap. Depending on how much you want to spend almost anything is possible. LS1's from corvettes, or 2jz-gte from the Supra are all possible but require a ton of money to make it work properly.
