Depends on how you get it out.
If possible the tank should be drained and the lines disconected and flushed.
If you can drain or syphon the tank on a modern fuel injected car the system should circulate the bad gas back to the tank in just a minute or two when trying to start the car.
REMEMBER this will not work unless the tank has new good gas in it. The amount of bad gas in the lines should not hurt the new gas as long as you have a Half tank or more of new gas.
Bad fuel pump, clogged or broken fuel lines, or if it is fuel injected it could be bad fuel injectors.
AnswerCheck fuel filter and fuel lines and fittingssome of the neons were recalled for bad fuel and brake lines
In old Chevy's it was vapor lock, which is the fuel boiling in the fuel lines. You can try to insulate your fuel lines and check fuel pressure..Could also be bad plugs.
check for clogged fuel filter,or bad fuel pump
could be a million reasons. ranging from bad fuel, vacuum lines not connected, plugged up fuel filter, bad/dirty carb.
If it has an electric fuel pump you will be able to hear it hum when you turn the car to the run posistion. If you can not hear it hum then its bad. On a mechanical fuel pump you can loosen on of the lines and crank the vehicle. If no fuel comes out the it is bad
If the fuel pump relay goes bad your fuel pump will not get power and you will get no fuel. If your fuel pressure is showing too low your pump is either weak and needs to be replaced, your fuel lines are restricted somewhere ( or possibly leaking ) or your fuel filter needs to be replaced.
When it takes a car a long time to accelerate, the car may need a tune-up. Also, the fuel injectors may need to be cleaned or replaced, or the fuel pump could be going bad, or the fuel pressure is too low.

If you Pull up your back seat you will have access to the fuel pump and gas tank... have rags ready to catch the fuel that is still in the lines
9 times outta 10 you have a fuel sending issue. your fuel filter or lines are clogged, or your fuel sending unit/pump are going bad
Need more info... could be weak batt bad starter.. fuel pump ..bad batt connections. COLD weather frozen fuel lines clogged fuel filter etc....
