being that fuel pump is in the gas tank I would remove the fuel line at the filter then turn on ignition being that fuel pump is in the gas tank I would remove the fuel line at the filter then turn on ignition
turn key on and let the fuel pump have time to push gas up to the motor. turn key on but dont start for about a minute. Make sure you put gas in first.
Turn the fuel on and then take the gas hose that connects to the carberator off and if it leaks gas then the caberator should be receiving it
The fuel pump will still try to pump fuel even if the tank is empty.
Turn your gas off. Unhook the gas line from the carberator. Put the end in a bottle or something. And turn the gas on Reserve.

Pull all fuel injectors out of their bores. turn engine over 25 rotations. replace fuel injectors. attempt to start engine. add fuel dryer product to tank of gas to absorb any residual water
