The hose on the top part of the fuel tank connects to the brass fitting highest on the carburetor it faces toward the air box(sort of) the fuel pump hose connects to where the primer assembly is on the side of the carb the exhaust is closest to the very lowest fitting under the bowl is the overflow so just connect a hose to that and tie it up to the frame so that it points away from you want fuel(down the back and under the engine) Help any?
The Suzuki Swift produced in the 90's is fuel injected, so there is no carburetor to replace. Your fuel system consists of fuel injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pump.
maybe no fuel in the tank? Check out the fuel filter. Also, the fuel pump could be bad.
Low of fuel. Fuel shutoff set to off position. Fuel filter clogged. Fuel pump running but not pumping any fuel and must be replaced.
I don't think the Suzuki has a fuel pump just for it's make...
From top of fuel tank connect hose to top carburetor connection> Larger pipe. from bottom of carb [smaller outlet pipe connect hose to primer pump in. From out of primer pump connect to return hose to lower tank connection.
its not the carburetor that pumps fuel, its called a fuel pump, that's the problem
If this engine is Fuel Injected it is located inside and on top of the fuel tank. Look for an access panel above the fuel pump inside the car. If there is none, you will have to remove the fuel tank.If the engine has a 2 barrel carburetor then just follow the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine. It will connect to the fuel pump. If you find no fuel pump it is inside the tank just like a fuel injected engine. Not 100% sure on this one as to exactly where the fuel pump is on a carburetor engine.
Yes
It doesn't have an electric fuel pump. It has a carburetor and a mechanical fuel pump. So there isn't a fuel pump fuse.
The pump is inside the fuel tank.
Fuel Pump.
Either on top and inside the fuel tank on fuel injected vehicle or on the engine block of vehicles with a carburetor. There are a few vehicles with carburetor that have an electric fuel pump. To find it just follow the fuel line to the engine. You will run into the fuel pump.
