TPMS stands for tire pressure monitoring system. So perhaps one of your tires is a lttle below the set pressure.
There is none. Just fill up your tires to the proper inflation and the light will go off.
Your vehicle is equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that monitors the tire pressure of all tires except the spare. The low tire pressure warning light warns of low tire pressure or indicates that the TPMS is not functioning properly. After the ignition switch is turned ON, this light illuminates for about 1 second and turns off. Low tire pressure warning: If the vehicle is being driven with low tire pressure, the warning light will illuminate. When the low tire pressure warning light illuminates, you should stop and adjust the tire pressure to the recommended COLD tire pressure shown on the Tire and Loading Information label. The low tire pressure warning light does not automatically turn off when the tire pressure is adjusted. After the tire is inflated to the recommended pressure, the vehicle must be driven over 16 MPH (25 km/h) to activate the TPMS and turn off the low tire pressure warning light. Use a tire pressure gauge to adjust tire pressure to the recommended pressure. TPMS malfunction: If the TPMS is not functioning properly, the low tire pressure warning light will flash for approximately 1 minute when the ignition switch is turned ON. The light will remain on after the 1 minute.
I had a similar problem on my 2006 G35. All I had to do was check the tire pressure on all wheels and fill them back up to spec; the light went off by itself.
Usually there is a knob that clicks when you turn it, as you turn it the light will go on and off.
It's really hard for me to picture what your trying to describe, but my guess is either the TPMS( tire pressure monitoring system) or the running light. If its the tpms check and adjust your air pressure to the proper pressure, it tells you in the door jam for the 06, im almost positive its 33psi all around, setting it to anything else will turn on the tpms sensor. if its the running lights, you will know cause it will go off when you turn the headlights on. or its the low coolant light.
You can't, by Federal law. You must properly inflate your tires for light to go off. If a sensor has gone bad, see your dealer or a competent tire dealer (Discount Tire is good). i live in Canada no law for tpms just want to turn it off is there a ways i hate that system don't need and bring a lots problem don't mind to paid a kit did you hear about it for jeep liberty 2006 There is no way to remove the system from the vehicle.
