∙ 9y agoIf you mean for fuel mix etc comp will reset and relearn after a long enough battery disconnect. As long as engine trans combo matches computer you are fine. If you did a swap, you don't reset it, you get an ECU that matches your combo

Unfortunately There is not a reset oil button ( Like the explorer) at least for the 2003 Expedition ( Eddie Bower model)
Auto Zone will read your engine codes FREE... They can also reset the light if you ask. However, until you fix the problem causing the engine light to come on. Even when reset it will eventually come back on.
