some vehicles must be driven at least 30 miles before light turns off. if that does not work. it should have nothing to do with stereo. but there are usually little sequences you must go through (turning lights on 3 times in 10 secs) that are listed in owners manuel.
I have driven the car for much more than 30 miles. Tried the headlight thing, and stereo reset option doesn't include tire pressure gauge. The only thing I haven't tried is disconnecting the battery for a few seconds.

The CD player should be in the stereo, if you bought the car used it may not have come with option. The CD changer option would be located below the stereo

I prefer stereo for any sized room. It just adds a lot of ambience to the programming.
You don't say if it was a Bluetooth. If so, go into settings and to Bluetooth settings. Remove the setting for the stereo. Now, it will be gone.

You need to get a set of Ford Stereo removal keys, once you have those, insert them into the holes, apply pressure away from the stereo and pull the entire unit out. then you simply unplug the wires from the back and your done!
Sony CD players have the G-protection option which are great for cars.
If you have changed the stereo the alarm settings will reset. The dealership reset those for Anti Theft protection.
