There are two fuel lines that come out of the fuel tank - one with a filter at the end and one without. The line without the filter goes to the IN port of the prime bulb and continues from the OUT port to the top of the carburetor. The line with the filter goes from the fuel tank to the bottom of the carburetor.
The engine will stall and not run. No damage will be done. You will need to drain the fuel tank, replace the fuel filter, blow out the fuel lines, and prime the engine to get it started again.
Vertical lines parallel to the prime meridian are lines of longitude.
The lines to the left of the prime meridian are negative.
To prime there is a primer button below the fuel filter about 6 inches, push that a few times. Usually you will need to bleed the lines if it is not starting, use a wrench to loosen two or three of the fuel lines where they connect to the injectors, then crank the engine until fuel comes out of the lines. Tighten the fuel lines again and it should start just fine.
There is no reason to prime a fuel pump. If it is a electric pump, then just cycle the key a few times, It primes it's self. If it is a manual pump then just crank the engine until it picks up the fuel.
Cycle the ignition on and off several times leaving it in the on position for a few seconds each time. Four or five times should do it.
Longitude lines. They are also called meridians.
prime engines only when; THE ENGINE IS OFF STARTING RUNNING ALL OF THE ABOVE

Lines of longitude.
The only lines that can run parallel to the Prime Meridian on any map are other meridians of longitude, and the only map on which they can be printed parallel to it is a Mercator Projection. They are not really parallel to the Prime Meridian.
