If you are referring to the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC), you can go to your public library and check out a Haynes or Chilton's Repair Manual for your vehicle. Chapter 6 in either book will have instructions on how to retrieve the codes, what the codes mean, and how to fix/repair/replace the component(s).
I had the same message come up at autozone. I think it means that the code # is not defined in the scanner tool, probally a manufacturer specific code.

I looked up the DTC or Diagnostic trouble codes on my computer in my repair shop and it came up with no codes I would suggest phoninh a dealership and asking them -ross sylvan auto center
Depending on where you are at, your local chain auto parts store should be able to translate the codes for you. Here in Reno, we have Auto Zone,and they have a scanner, and will pull your DTC's for you for free.
Im not positive on this but my 99 contour just gave me the same code and it seems like either my battery or alternater needs to change going to try both tomorrow if it works ill let you know that was code number p1132
