To remove the back seat from a 1997 Honda Odyssey the seat locks need to be opened. When the clips are unlocked the seat will be able to be lifted up and removed from the vehicle.
The rear seat is not designed to be removed. You can remove the center seat and slide the rear seat forward.

very easy to remove seat. Turn the upper section of the seat down, then release the seat by pulling what comes from under seat, then it rises up, and you can remove the seat. Theres very clear pictures in the seats.

the battery is located underneath the rear seat ,remove rear seat by pulling upward on front of rear seat remove from car.next remove both + and- cables then completely remove bracket that holds battery.remove battery,andsame directions in reverse order
Open the trunk and disconnect the electric wires there. Go in the back seat and remove the covers/unscrew them.
It is under the passenger seat, you will have to remove the passenger seat then the rug will have to be pulled back to access the module.
under the seat on the left side, is a helmet lock. Place your key in the lock and turn it. That unlocks the seat. Then just pull back on the seat and it will come right off.
