The reservoir can be removed fairly simple. There are a couple of 5/16 bolts that attract your attention, but remove the hoses first while the reservoir is sturdily secure. I used a pair a visegrips on the hose clamps to keep them open while using a flatheaded screwdriver to slide the hoses off the jug, it will leak any fluid it contains, so prepare for the spill. Keep the hoses pointed up to prevent additional leakage. Remove the 5/16 bolts & jiggle reservoir side to side, as the brackets on the reservoir are "C" shaped.
The power steering reservoir is mounted on top of the power steering pump.
Got to drop the engine
Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump belt. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. The power steering pump will come off.
It is mounted directly onto the power steering pump. Held on with two clips that are a pain to remove.
how you can change the power steering pump
Remove belt guards, loosen alternator hold-down bolt, loosen belt tensioner, remove belt, unhook power steering line clamps and lines at reservoir, remove reservoir and pump. Reinstallation is reverse of disassembly.
Remove the belt for am your power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new power steering pump.
