the 1991 3000gt are dohc. it comes stock with 222hp. they also made sohc but that wasn't until later generations of the 3000gt's. The 1991 dodge stealths came in sohc, compared to the 91 3000gt's dohc. either way, with minor adjustments, it will fit from sohc to dohc.
no the sohc and dohc manifolds are totally different.
yes, the dohc sl will fit. sohc 3000gt uses a distributer
The EGR valve on mine is behing the intake manifold. Comes off the back exhaust manifold. Right behind the inake inlet.
222 hp
if it is a dohc engine then you may have to remove the intake manifold
look where the air intake goes to, on the driver side of the block If you have the 2.4L DOHC 4cyl. the thermostat is attached to the water pump, which is located under the exhaust manifold on the side of the engine facing the fire wall. you will have to pull the exhaust manifold in order to change it
185 SOHC and 220 DOHC i believe
the 3000GT came in three models. The base model, V6 SOHC engine - front wheel drive. The SL, V6 DOHC engine - front wheel drive. And lastly, the VR4 twin turbo DOHC V6 AWD.
The sohc will have silver valve covers. The dohc will be black. If you still cant tell look up a picture on google images
if its CA emissions, it will deifnately have two one bolted to the exhaust manifold and one not too far behind that one
Call your local wrecking yard. They have interchange manuals and software. yes it will sohc and dohc. not sure they will Stratus has the exhaust manifold in front, neon in the rear
