In general, remove negative cable from battery, remove electrical wires from starter, remove bolts holding starter in place, remove starter. Replace starter in reverse order.

disconnect power from battery, remove wires connected to starter, remove bolts from starter (usually 2), remove starter.

one bolt at a time
Remove the cables from the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. The starter will come off. Reverse the process to install the new starter.

Locate the starter at the rear of the engine on the passenger's side. Unplug the wiring. Remove the bolts that hold the starter. Remove the starter.
You have to remove the exhaust manifold to get to the starter.

remove neg. battery cable disconnect both electrical wires to starter solenoid. remove 2 14mm bolts that secure starter to transmission and remove starter
