To remove the battery from a Citroen C3 keyfob. Firstly unloop the key from an keyring. Remove the cross head screw from near the metal part of the key Use a small coin or flat bladed screwdriver to lever apart the two halves of the clamshell. There is an easy access point in the clamshell at the point the key attaches to the keyring. You will then see the battery on the circuit board.
You need to remove the battery and bracket then you will see a black Plastic thing and that is where you can top up the oil

The diesel engine Citroen C3 have the fuel filter located in the engine bay, under the air intake pipe to the air filter. There are 2 fuse boxes in C3. One in the glove box and the other under the bonnet next to the battery. You will need to remove the battery cover to access the fuse under the bonnet. The fuses are numbered so you need to know which fuse you want to change as the fuse may have different ratings.

The battery is covered with battery box on the right side. Open the box and it will come off as it is in two parts. Unscrew and remove the terminals. Lift out the battery and replace it with a new one. Put back the terminals and tighten the bolts on the terminal. Replace the battery box cover which should click together once they are properly aligned.
