The brake lights may not work on a 1993 Honda Prelude if the brake light switch is no longer working. The brake light switch is in the steering column just above where the brake pedal is bolted to it. There is also a chance that a brake light fuse is blown.
You need to turn (screw, rotate) the piston clockwise in the caliper a large number of times to make it fully retract. You can insert some kind of tool into the indentations in the face of the piston, or grip the very top edge of the piston with pliers in order to turn it. It has to be fully retracted to allow enough space for "new" pads to be installed.
if u want to talk u can talk about the wwe ok
It may be wired wrong.
turn the brake piston to adjust. adjust all the way down.
You have to be more specific and tell if it is a brake or engine problem. There are to many to tell where all are located.
The wire should rest at 12V+ or zero but when the parking brake is on the wire goes 12V- .
No, the license plate light is wired in with the rear tail lights, not the brake lights.
Crack the bleeder screw pry calipers apart with screw driver rebuild the brake ....tip to get brake piston out use compressed air
The back brakes on my Honda Accord are disc brakes. After removing the brake cylinder assembly you will see the brake cylinder piston end has a slot in it. The short pin on the back side of the inner brake pad fits into this slot, but also it is used to 'Turn' (clock-wise) the piston back into the cylinder so you fit the assembly back over the new 'thicker' pads. You can not 'press' this piston back into the cylinder.
