Ok, you guys made me figure this out for myself. This is a lot easier than I was led to believe. Best buy told my wife the rear seat had to be removed. Well after removing it I realized it didnt have to come out. All you do is carefully remove these oval-shaped cloth inserts over the speakers on the rear deck and push two release tabs from inside the trunk and there you go! It did get tricky after removing the factory speakers you see that the speakers are actually attached to a plastic housing that fits the cutouts. I had to drill two fasteners out( star key wouldn't back out) and pry a little with a screwdriver to release the speakers. Then my 6 1/2 inch aftermarkets still werent perfect. I had to bend a couple brackets a little to attatch to the housing but it was pretty easy. Now its done and those Blaupunkt`s really sound great. Im glad I did it myself. Best Buy wanted 195.00 to install these, what a joke!

You must remove the rear package tray.
Attach the wiring harness to the back of your 2002 Chevy new rear speakers. Secure the rear speakers with the retaining screws. Put the rear speaker covers on.
the rear seat back will probably have to come out and then you have to take the rear package tray out to get to the bolts holding the speakers in.
