a bad radiator -automatic portion of radiator not cooling off transmission
Yes! both the radiator and the hoses are swapable :) Just besure that if your vehicle has a automatic transmission the radiator has the automatic transmission cooling line fittings.
if you are asking about the cooling lines for the transmission that connect to the radiator, its easy. first disconnect the lines from the radiator (2 lines, usually on the bottom opposite the radiator outlet) then disconnect the lines from the transmission. remove the brackets holding them on, then remove.
It does nothing to assist with engine cooling.
if you have an automatic transmission there should be cooling lines going to the radiator to cool the transmission fluid the lines could be leaking or the tank could be leaking
1. Disconnect negative battery cable 2. Drain the cooling system. The drain cock valve is located at the lower right rear corner. 3. Remove the air duct and air filter. 4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the radiator cooling fan. On model with A/C disconnect the condenser cooling fan connector. 5. Loosen the hose clamps and then detach the upper and lower hoses from radiator. Disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator filler neck 6. If equipped with an automatic disconnect the fluid cooler lines from bottom of the radiator. 7. Remove the radiator mounting bolts and brackets. 8. Carefully lift out the radiator and cooling fans as a single assembly. 9. Separate the cooling fans from the radiator.
Drain cooling system Remove fan shroud Disconnect transmission lines Disconnect upper and lower hoses Remove bolts at top & side of radiator Lift out of lower supports
Most have input and output hose do coolant can enter and circulate through radiator and then be returned to the engine. Automatic transmission also has 2 smaller lines running to and from the radiator to the transmission for cooling purposes
* Disconnect the negative battery cable * Set the parking brake and block the rear wheels.Raise the front of the car and support it securely on jackstands * Drain the cooling system if coolant is relatively new save it * Disconnect the automatic transmission cooler lines from the radiator if equipped. Use a drip pan to catch spilled fluid and plug the lines and fittinings * Loosen the hose clamps then detach the radiator hoses from the radiator. Also disconnect the small hose to the coolant reservoir * Remove the engine cooling fan assembly * Unbolt the small brackets that attach the top of the radiator to the radiator support * Carefully lift out the radiator out of the engine compartment

The radiator has a transmission cooling tank in it. Evidently the tank has cracked. You may have a crack in your radiator your transmission cooling line runnz in your radiator good luck
