Depends on the car. An E30 BMW neg battery cable is about 6 inches. The neg battery cable on a Chevy small block about 2 feet.
E30 was the 3 series BMW model from 1982-1994.
If you mean the on board computer and yours is an E30 its under the dash above the glove compartment. Disconnect the battery ground and take out the glove box the undo the four bolts holding it up. Take off the harness connector by pulling the metal lever and the connector will swivel off the computer.
The E30 designation refers to the body shape of the car. The E30 is the designation given to 3 series BMWs between the years of '81 to '91.
hi, E30 series have stopped being produced in 1991, and 1994 for estates models, i don't which 1997 e30 you are talking about.
both are very fast cars, because both are tuned E30
The first BMW E30 M3 was first made in 1985 and has continued to be made with varying ranges of it from the E30 to the E93. It is still produced in demand today.
The BMW E30 convertible was first released in 1981, and was in production until 1994. The traditional E30 was replaced by the E36 in 1992, but the convertible was continued until 1994.
"There are slight changes in specification for example the gearbox but in reality the word sport is pretty much all." Hm, not really; they use different engines. There is no such thing as a "325ise". There are 3 engines used in e30's; the 2.5L i I6, the 2.7e I6 (or ete, meaning economy), and the 1.8L I4. The "i" stands for fuel injected. 325is stands for 3 series, 2.5L, i, sport. The "325i sport" you referred to is called a 325is. 325i is the same car without the sports package. The 325 or 325e are the same car, with the 2.7L eta engine. Not sure why they didn't call it a 327e. The 318i/318is use the 1.8L 4cyl engine. I hope that helped.
