the filter is located behind the right front inner fender, the plastic fender well. raise vehicle & remove the right front wheel. Remove rear half of the screws that hold the inner fender plus one or two located just under the bottom of the right front fender. Lift & pull the inner fender out of the way. If it has never been replaced the filter will be bolted to the frame. Remove the bolt then you will need a fuel line coupler depressor tool that slides down the fuel line into the fuel filter to release the tabs that secure the filter to the line. There may also be a safety bracket that keeps the fuel line secure in the event the coupler fails. Buy a quality filter, you don't want to do this again any time soon. drl
I was looking at one of the Ford websites and it shows : For each of the model years of the Lincoln Mark VIII ( 1993 to 1998 ) The Motorcraft ( FL-820-S ) engine oil filter is used
In the airtube right after the air filter, passenger side, under the hood.
Its inside the passenger side front fender. Remove the plastic cover. Replace as you would any other Lincoln filter.
Possibly tappets.
go to markviii.org. they have a answer for almost anything with the lincoln mark viii
Jack the passenger side front, remove the fender liner and it will be there on the left.

Bad thermostat?
It's probably the amp, either change it or replace the audio system
Where to find the horn relay fuse for a 93 Lincoln Mark VIII
Front brakes are done the usual way but the back pistons have to be screwed into the calibers not pushed in.
Lincoln did not offer a Mark VII in 1993.. Lincoln stopped production in 1992. Then started the Mark VIII in 1993
