It is located posterior of the flux-capacitor, to the left of the y-pipe's s bend.
O2 sensors measure O2 levels in the exhaust so they are in the exhaust pipes. On newer vehicles there is 1 before the catylitic converter and another after to monitor the function of the converter. Pre obd2 vehicles usually have 1 sensor between the engine and the catylitic converter.
where is the location of all o2 sensars in 99 Mazda 626
I've posted several photos of bank 1 sensor 1 & 2 on the mpvclub.com website. Bank 1 sensor 1 is nearly impossible without the right tools.
You did not specify which O2 sensor it is. Is it sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 2, sensor 2 bank 1, or sensor 1 bank 2. There are four O2 sensors on a mazda 626
The 2000 Mazda Miata O2 sensor bank 1 is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The sensor can be found on the passenger side of the firewall.
To change an O2 sensor you need to disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor. Use an O2 sensor socket and ratchet set to remove the old sensor and replace with the new one.
I had the same problem on my 98 Mazda 626 and the O2 sensor was faulty.....
to change o2 sensor ,you need to buy a o2 sensor socket from a parts store then disconnect neg terminal on battery ,after that disconnect wire connecter on o2 sensor and remome o2 sensor
Bad O2 sensor-no activity detected.
1995 vehicles did not have post cat o2 sensors.
