There should be a wire that should be grounded into the E-brake wiring. Ground that wire and it will think the E-Brake is on. You can also update The NavMate software. go to HorizonNav Dot Com web site. Free Nav software update and 2010 maps. The new maps have Text to Speech and 11 million POI's
