Remove the inspection cover, have someone bump the engine over until the adjusting nut appears. have someone hold the clutch fully depressed, tighten the adjusting nut a little at a time, check the pedal for correct freeplay. Some clutches have a push type lock tab like a slack adjuster, some have a lock tab bolted on to hold the adjusting nut, some are not adjustable. good luck
how to adjust cluch for a 1987 bayou
There is no clutch adjustment. The clutch is hydralic and therefore needs no adjustment. If the clutch isn't working correctly you most likely have to bleed the clutch line.
If there is a hydraulic master cylinder at the clutch lever (looks like the front brake) then...NO.
At my shop with clutch and laber it would cost about 1,800

You can't adjust a clutch in a 95 Escort because it has a hydraulic clutch.
if it is a self-adjusting clutch, you can't adjust it. if the cluth engages at the top, then you will need a new clutch. just take it to a ford dealership, its the easiest way to get it done right because of the hydraulic cylinders and what not also you could try bleeding the air of of the lines
You can only adjust the clutch pedal. You can adjust position and range just on top of the pedal.
You cannot adjust the clutch on the s-series.
