I have a FIAT Doblo 1.9 MJT Family from 2006. It has a timing belt. According to the manual it has to be changed at 120,000km or after 5 years of normal use. In case of demanding usage (city traffic) the belt must be changed after 4 years
ive change my cam belt on my doblo and wen turned over by hand it didnt line up agen
replace the belt or adjust it
belt
ask your mom how she adjust her belt then you'll know
u do not adjust belt tensioner if belt is loose, u need to replace belt as tensioner works automatically
The water pump is the tensioner for the timing belt. if you need to adjust it, replace it.
fiat punto firing order 1342 from timing belt end
The alternator is rotated on it's pivot to adjust belt tension.
belts
63000
If the timing belt brakes on a bravo the engine will be whacked/busted as the Mk1 1.2 Fiat Punto is the only non interferance/ Free wheeling engine Fiat made be warned if in doubt change it out.
