HOW TO GET A PULLEY OFF A 1998 CHEVY BLAZER
how to get the crank shaft pulley off of a 03 Hyundai elanta GLS
You may need a pulley (aka gear) puller to pull it off of the crank. The puller comes usually with bolts or claws you can ancor onto the pulley...
Take the belt off, take the bolt off of the idler pulley, take the pulley off, put a new one on replace the bolt, and put the belt back on
To get the pulley off? To get the belt off? I don't understand what pressure you mean
This all depends on what type of supercharger it is. If you have an Eaton supercharger it is possible that it might be a pressed on pulley. If this is the case then you will need a pulley puller. If the supercharger is a Vortech, Paxton, or ProCharger they all use key ways. So all you need to do is take the bolt off and the pulley might come off. Some times the pulley will not slide off so a pulley puller will work. Or you can heat up the shaft which will cause the pulley to expand and it will then slide right off. DO NOT use a screw driver or any force to pry it off. This can cause damage to the bearings.
Which pulley are you referring to. There is 5 or 6 on that car.
Take off belt, remove bolt in center of pulley, replace with new pulley (comes with bearing). Reverse to install Take off belt, remove bolt in center of pulley, replace with new pulley (comes with bearing).
You have to purchase a special pulley puller from Dodge, other wise you will break the pulley when you try to pull it off.
That depends on how the pulley is mounted on the motor. If the pulley is welded then no most likely you will have to cut it to get it off. However, if the pulley is fixed to the motor using a bolt/s or other fasteners then yes. Warning: The pulley could be press fit onto the motor. If this is the case it can come off but might not be able to ever go back on.
That is the idler pulley. The other pully to the bottom left of that one is the tensioner pulley.
That requires a special PULLER to remove the pulley.
