I am currently having the same problem you are having check the fuse to see if it is blown the blinkers and brake lights are on the same fuse my system has a short in it somewhere and is popping the fuses I am in the process of running new wires since the wonderful people at Chevy ran all the wires thru the frame and you can't access them

Check the 30 amp brake fuse (green) in the engine compartment fuse block.

For the PS2 version there is not any indicators (blinkers). I dont think there any on there other consoles ether, but there is a horn and headlights.

Be for starting the van press down on your emergency brake one click then start the van. As long as you dont use the emergency brake your running lights should stay off. To permanently dissable them you could try defeeting that switch

the hazard switch has two sets of contacts. when hazards turned on, blinkers cannot work,even if hazards dont work.for blinkers to work, hazard sw must be in off position-this reconnects blinker circuits to work normally. BUT-the contacts in the hazard sw get dirty and wont reconnect the blinkers to work
You have an 82 f100 the electrical functions are fine with the truck off and the key turned on when you start the truck the blinkers blower motor and reverse lights dont work can anyone help?
