I had a problem with mine and it wouldn't go forward. If it moves backwards, it needs to go all the way back before it operates correctly.
There is one fuse panel located on the drivers side of the dash board that can be accessed with the door open, and there are two more under the back seat behind the drivers seat. You have to remove the lower back seat to get to those and the battery as well.
The knob adjusts the lumbar support in the driver's seat back.
Order a new seat locking lever from FORD, it should be accessable from the drivers side where you adjust the seat.
If you look between the seat cushion and the seat back you will find a strap allowing you to hinge the seat cushion forward, and there is a small knob on the seat back drivers side that needs to be pulled up.

Yes, by buckling your seat belt. If that does not work, take it back to the dealer for repair. It is still under warranty. Just reach under the drivers seat and unplug the wiring harness plug and your noise will go away....
