YES A flow master exhaust will change the sound and performance of your car. They are mostly recommended for high powered racing cars. It will make the car seem louder and tougher sounding.
A motorbike is louder than a car because the exhaust system is shorter in the bike.
a resonator restricts the sound in your exhaust. removing the resonator will give it a deeper sound. i would suggest changing the entire exhaust system and leaving he resonator off which would make a louder/meaner sound. leaving it on would silence the idle but when you rev it really high it would still be loud.
because the gears are grinding together if its an old car it will make a louder crack sound
The exhaust system is falling apart probably from rust, have it checked soon, you don't want fumes getting into the car.
Well depends on the car... On a car with a turbo charger that is what you are hearing. Or, I've heard whistles coming from exhaust leaks as well as those little prank whistles you can stick in the back of exhaust.
Yes...i have an 07 cobalt special edition supercharged and my friend stabbed holes into my muffler without me knowning...but i am somewhat happy because it does make the car sounds much louder and it sounds like i have an expensive exhaust system on it...but i recommend getting an exhaust system Yes...i have an 07 cobalt special edition supercharged and my friend stabbed holes into my muffler without me knowning...but i am somewhat happy because it does make the car sounds much louder and it sounds like i have an expensive exhaust system on it...but i recommend getting an exhaust system
Put The Volume Up
u can either take the muffler off the cat or enclose the cat in a 6 inch box, other wise u can fuse 2 cats together although it costs a bomb 2 do. try cleaning the cat with some bicarb and a bottle brush. this should give it that extra sound cos there's no dirt to absorb the sound and if you want you could take off the exhaust pipe to make it insanely loud or use a hot dog exhaust to make it louder
Maybe slightly do to echo, but mostly just changes the tone. to increase decibel, would have to change muffler.
That depends how close you measure to the car. The closer - the louder! The distance is very important if you measure with a sound pressure level meter.
Yes it will but it depends on the tone u want.. remember if its a stock muffler it might not be the sound your looking for. plus it could make exhaust gasses enter the car when your not moving. i dont think its worth it.. just replace your muffler. i love my dynomax super turbo on my inline 6 jeep.
