Yes, Interferance motor.
Its has a timing belt (2.0l 16 valve dual cam ) and a timing chain in rear of camshaft.
does a Hyundai tiburon have a egr valve
no it does not, it might have an interferance fit engine though. some do and some dont. what this actually means is that if the timing belt breaks, or is not installed correctly, when the pistons are coming up, and the valves are down they are going to interfere with each other, causing major eng damage. if it is a non-interferance eng, then the pistons will not interfere with valve travel.
Mustang's have timing chains not belts and do not have interference engines. Change the timing chain when it brakes or stretches to the point it throws off your valve timing.
Get the used engine! The engine is an "interferance type", damage to valve train when the belt brakes.
Honda Man The 2.4 Mitsubishi engine is an inteference engine. When a timing belt breaks on this engine valve damage can occur.
My experience tells me it is a non interference engine and it is unlikely to have damage.
the 1.6 baleno has a belt drive and is a interferance engine meaning if it fails you could suffer piston to valve damage, replacement interval is 50,000 miles
variable valve timing is where the engine changes valve timing based on the driving situation much like ignition timing is changed to meet the needs of the engine in specific situations. in most cars valve timing is static and determined by the timing gear on the camshaft
The metering valve should be pressed down while bleeding the brakes. This is one of the steps to changing brakes.
