I want to replace the non-working speedometer cable on my 90 subaru legacy are there any free graphics and instructions to show me how to do it and what it looks like and where it is?
There is no speedometer cable to change. Subaru, like all modern cars, has an electronic speedometer. --Ken

The most common reason for a speedometer to fail is a broken speedometer cable. Loosen the nuts on each end of the speedometer cable. Remove the speedometer cable retaining clips. Reverse the process to install the new speedometer cable.
