You unplug, unbolt and remove the coils. The plugs are under the coils.
Empty the gas tank (syphon the tank) then take out the battery, and spark plugs. This was one of the most complicated process on the car. I recommend taking the spark plugs before the battery.

In my opinion, a misfire is usually the plugs, wires or some ignition component. Could be a faulty coil. Reset the battery by disconnecting for 5 minutes and see if codes come back. They quite possibly could be there from before after replacing parts, if not reset. Can also unplug MAF sensor and see how it runs w/o it connected. This might be a good indictator also.
