Of course you can but you should not. The 70 series tire will have a 1" smaller diameter than the 75 series tire. Your speedometer will be 2 mph too slow. A better substitute would be a 285/70-16.

Tire size: P245 70/R16 for Eddie Bauer or Limited P235 70/R16 for XLS and XLT
Try P235/70/R16, that is what came from the factory.
The 205/70/r15 is 26.3 inches tall. The 215/65/r16 is 27 inches tall. Never mix different size tires on different rims.
