What cause 2001 Chevy s10 to have low oil pressure?

antifreeze leaks by the intake gasket into oil. deteriating bearings causing oil to leak by the bearing

When a car engine is blown what part of it broke?

could be rings bearings or a head gasket, if its seized and won't turn over its the bearings or a broken connecting rod or cam or crankshaft. if it runs but blows oil it's fried rings, and if it blows antifreeze out its the head gasket, also if you get water in your oil or the radiator is low and doesn't leak its blowing antifreeze into your intake and can seize the bearings etc. :)

Just had intake gasket done on 350 and I believe block was not drained properly if antifreeze was left in engine how fast would it wreck engine?

It would trash the engine bearings real quick. Antifreeze in the oil is a for sure engine getter. I just got done rebuilding a 98 350 vortec that had antifreeze in the oil do to the intake gasket leaking and all the engine bearings were trashed.

Would antifreeze in a oil pan for a 350 Chevy motor cause rod bearing to go out?

yes, if you have coolant in the oil the oil doesn't give the rod bearings the lubrication that they need, they then overheat, and fail.

Can antifreeze hurt the environment?

Yes. It can hurt the Environment.

What does Brown milky oil in oil pan mean?

That means that there is engine coolant / antifreeze leaking into the engine and mixing with the engine oil. You must have an 1997---2000 modal V-8 or V-6 engine. It is very common for the intake gasket to leak coolant into the engine oil on those engines. Are you sure it did not freeze and crack the engine block ?? If you know that it had enough antifreeze in it not to freeze, Then you may get lucky and flush the engine oil and replace the oil filter several times AFTER you replace the intake gasket. OIL and ANTIFREEZE don't mix well and the antifreeze will destroy the engine BEARINGS.

Is oil heavier than antifreeze?

No, oil is lighter than antifreeze.

I have a 1996 dodge caravan and the antifreeze and motor oil seems to be mixing does anyone know what it could be?

It sounds like you have a leaking intake manifold or head gasket. This needs to be repaired soon because the antifreeze will wear out the engine bearings very prematurely.

What if 3 ounces of antfreeze got mixed with 12 quarts of oil?

I have had antifreeze get into the engine oil when the engine blew a head gasket. A little bit of water or Antifreeze will not hurt anything. If it was 2 quarts then it would be A good idea to change the oil but 3 ounces is nothing to be conserensd about.
