∙ 12y agoTo my understanding you cannot repair a transmission if there has been sand put in it. You would need to completely change out the transmission for a new one. Sand is too fine to fully flush out of the system.

∙ 12y agoit depends. do you own it and hAVE YOU HAD TO PUT A LOT OF MONEY IN IT IN THE LAST YEAR OR SO.if not i would'nt put no more than 750.00 in it to have repaired
put fluid in differential or have someone replace your syncros if its a manual
maybe someone put a shift kit in the tranny.
put it in neutral, you can also have someone steering the car
If someone put sugar in the gas can it would look like that.
In the transmission.
Look in the manual
You put the Transmission Fluid in the Transmission (fill point transmission drip stick tube)
remove the sand then put dirt there
It would be best not to put any transmission fluid in the engine. Really!! I'd never of guessed. I guess the clue is 'transmission and fluid' and that the fluid goes in the transmission!! the reason I put the type of engine was IOT assist someone with a realistic answer, I didn't expect for one minute the answer I received, but this is America!!
It's a good chance it's not your transmission at all. I would or have someone check your u-joints on the drive shaft of the vehicle. They could need replacement, its a lot less expensive than a transmission rebuild.
You could probably use sand but you would have to have a hard surfaced area somewhere in the tank to put food on. If you put the food on the sand the sand will get on the food and in the snakes mouth. So put the food on the hard surfaced area.
