Not much info to go on..but I guessing that it MAY be a rod bearing...That is known as "Fixing to throw a rod" which is VERY bad. You MAY be able to fix it by dropping the oil pan but the crankshaft or rod MAY have to be replaced if it has been going on for a while. If you drop the oil pan see if the rod(connected to the crankshaft) has any play in it. There should not be any up and down and very little side to side. Which is called "End Play" The crankshaft journals HAVE to be smooth.
The length of the crankshaft throw is the stroke of the engine.
It means to knock or throw.
You have to split the engine cases and remove the crankshaft. Then remove the crankshaft bearings. Use a seal driver or large socket and knock out the seals. Lube new seals and drive them in. Replace all the seals in motor, new crank bearings, and mine as well throw in a new piston and rings since its all apart anyway.
Both con-rod length and shape of the crankshaft affect piston stroke
2.5 inches
it is a camshaft position sensor check vaccume lines also as for some reason this will throw this cone because of rough idle
remember, one turn consists of two throws. when you get a strike, that means that you knock down all of the pins in one throw, and one throw exactly. if you knock down all the pins on your first throw, you can't have another throw and your turn is over. when you get a spare, that means you took your two throws and knocked down ALL of the pins. for example, if you knock down four of the pins in your first throw and 6 pins on your next throw, you get a spare. but if you get 0 pins on your first throw and 10 pins on your second throw, that is also a spare, not a strike.
Put your hand around the lamp and throw it down.
Well, did you just arbitrarily replace the crankshaft position sensor, or did you actually diagnose it? If you're not getting any power at the sensor, you can throw new sensors at it all day long and not change anything. Fuel delivery issues could be your problem. Do you have fuel pressure in the system? Is your dash showing a MIL (check engine light)?? If you do, get your codes pulled and start there. Alldata and ProDemand both have comprehensive lists of diagnostic steps for troubleshooting fault codes.
It refers to a breakage of the connecting rod. This connects the piston to the crankshaft
knock the wood thing and throw it in the water
