Bob Cratchit is a fictional character coined by Charles Dickens for his novella or short story- A Christmas Carol. The story is better known by the name of its lead character- Scrooge! The title song, so to speak , is not identified in the story. Some have suggested ( God rest ye merry Gentlemen) as that is an English song- others- the democratic- easy to sing- Silent night.
