Answer

She did not have a job where she got paid. She was a Jew and Jewish people couldn't have jobs.

Answer

She did not have a job because she was a child (around 13 to 15 at the time she wrote her famous Diary) and because she was hiding in an attic 24 hours a day.

Jewish people definitely were allowed to have jobs in pre-WW2 Germany. They suffered much discrimination and prejudice, but they were definitely NOT prohibited from having jobs.

Actually, that is one of the major reasons the anti-Semitism in Germany escalated to genocide. Germany was going through a HUGE depression after WW1, and the Jewish people of Germany tended to hold the highest-paying jobs in the whole country.
