It is hard to find evidence that directly states that he is Christian. But in "The Sun also Rises," and "A Farwel to Arms," he shows a deep respect for Christianity.

In "The Sun also Rises" Jake is a Christian, though not a good one, he says it helps him to cope with the world, and in "A Farwell to Arms," the priest is shown to be this morrally wise being who represtents honest traditional family life.
